Based upon a lifetime spent in the classroom, teaching students of all ages, I believe that I have more than a few words of advice for those following in my footsteps. Being a classroom teacher, an educator, of so many, has been the greatest privilege but it took me an entire career to become a master of my craft. In this, my first podcast, I am going to try and give some background about myself and what lead me into the classroom to begin with. I talk about how I had major problems when I first began to teach and how I overcame them.. I introduce the term grit as it applies to a successful life as a classroom teacher.
